Ranked amongst the top institutes of the world, the degree awarded by the IITs is at par with that awarded by the best universities in the world.

Every year the IITs conduct a Joint Entrance Examination (JEE), to select candidates for the four year B.Tech., B. Pharm., five year B.Arch., M.Tech. and M.Sc. courses offered at their campuses located in Chennai, Delhi, Guwahati, Kanpur, Kharagpur, Mumbai & Roorkee.
